Please join us Saturday, July 29, at 3pm in the Peabody Essex Museum Atrium to say goodbye to this year’s students of the Ota Cultural Exchange Program and celebrate Obon, when Japanese honor ancestors. We are delighted Odaiko New England will perform Taiko, exuberant and powerful Japanese drumming. Dig out your happi coats or summer kimono because we are all expected to join the communal Bon Odori dance and you can make your own uchiwa fan! This programming is included in the price of museum admission: free for Salem residents, other adults $20. Questions? Email denise@granniss.com. We look forward to seeing you there!
